The health benefits of a sauna

Taking a sauna is not only relaxing, but also beneficial to your health:

  • Strengthening the immune system: The high temperatures and subsequent cooling stimulate blood circulation, which strengthens the body's defences.
  • Stress reduction and mental relaxation: The calm atmosphere in the sauna and the interaction of heat and cold help to reduce stress and promote general well-being.
  • Muscle regeneration: After sporting activity, the heat supports muscle relaxation and relieves pain in joints and muscles.
  • Improving the skin: The intensive flow of sweat cleanses the pores, promotes blood circulation in the skin and ensures a fresh, clear complexion.
  • Promoting cardiovascular health: The alternation between heat and cold trains the blood vessels and improves cardiovascular function.
