Art exhibition "Chlorine-rich days"

At the Rüppurr outdoor pool from 5 to 7 June 2026

From Friday, 5 June 2026 to Sunday, 7 June 2026, an art exhibition will take place at the Rüppurr outdoor pool, organised and curated by a collective from the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, consisting of Charlotte Singer, Lisa Eigmüller, Pauline Kuch and Lilith Stumpf. Around 40 works by local artists and designers will be on display, all of which deal with outdoor pool culture in a variety of ways. The exhibition design was created by Amelie Enders, Klara Beck and Asimina Sideris.

Regular pool operations will continue.
Due to the art exhibition, some areas will not be available to bathers over the weekend, which is why there will be restrictions:

  • Closure of the entire swimmers' pool on Friday, 5 June 2026 from approx. 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm due to the synchronised swimmers' performance on the occasion of the art exhibition
  • Closure of lane 3 (approx. middle lane) in the swimmers' pool from Friday, 5 June 2026 from approx. 4:30 p.m. up to and including Sunday, 7 June 2026 for the exhibition of "floating" works of art Swimming / diving in the closed lane and the use of the artworks in it is prohibited.

To view the art exhibition, the regular outdoor pool entrance fee must be paid. The art exhibition will open on Friday, 5 June 2026 at 3 pm.
